If you are a book lover or a specific genre lover, this page is just for you to find your next read. You might already be having a list of things you wanna read but even choosing one from that can be confusing. Lets see what's famous from some preferred genres:

  • Fantasy-

The infamous Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling, if you haven't read this yet or watched its movie then you are definitely missing out on life. But if you have read it or don't want to read something which is acclaimed then go for The Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare or A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas.

  • Crime-

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie or The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, worried about someone ruining the ending for you?, try something different, pick up Give Me Your Hand by Megan Abbott or The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine instead. Read them, and then have the fun of spoiling the ending for your friend instead of being the one on the receiving end of the spoiler prank!

  • Young Adult-

The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, To All the Boys I've Loved before series by Jenny Han, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer or To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee etc.. Majorly all novel-to-movie adapted novels outshine their movie adaptations.

  • Historical-

Pachinko by Min Jin Lee, All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, etc. are some of the known historical fiction stories set in 19's and 20's.

  • Mystery/Thriller-

Paper Towns by John Green, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, Verity by Colleen Hoover and Inferno by Dan Brown are some of the novels which will keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat until the final page.

  • Horror-

It and The Shining by Stephen King, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and Ring by Koji Suzuki are the stories which offer terrifying experiences both in their original novels and their chilling movie adaptations. If you're looking for a good scare, these book-to-film transitions are sure to deliver plenty of jump scares and unsettling moments.

  • Romance-

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, 2 States by Chetan Bhagat, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks, are few of the romantic-classics. You might want to explore fresh, non-cliché options, for a change of pace, consider LGBT romance novels like Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston and Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman. Alternatively, you could dive into swoon-worthy love stories such as Twisted love by Ana Huang, Cross the Line by Simone Soltani, In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer.

  • Self-Help based-

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Atomic Habits by James Clear, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter, 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, Ikigai by Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson etc. Each of these books offers unique insights and perspectives on life, success, habits, relationships, and mindset.

  • Biographies-

A Beautiful Mind by Sylvia Nasar of John Nash, Long Walk to Freedom by Nelson Mandela, Isaacson’s recent book about Elon Musk, Ron Chernow’s Alexander Hamilton, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot and Bruce Lee: A Life by Matthew Polly.
